October Ipsy 2021

Hello!

Here we are at the end of October. How the hell did we get here? I’ve been dizzy for the past couple weeks so I’ve not been able to do things like I normally can.

This month’s bag was of course a Halloween theme with Pretty Wicked.

They did the tips again this month. Which is fine, these are easy Halloween makeup looks. I am kind of bummed they didn’t go with Halloween Themed makeup in the bag.

I really love this bag. It’s perfect for the month of Halloween.

BLUME Daydreamer: Gentle Ultra Hydrating Facial Cleanser. I’ve never heard of this brand before so I was excited to try a new face wash. I hate this one. I’m not fully convinced it’s not really lotion. I have used a little dot of it and it’s like I’m trying to wash my face with lotion. I tried it 3 times and reread the bottle more each time thinking I had read it wrong. Since I have Vertigo I thought my mind was fucking with me. Nope, I just don’t like this one at all.

This one is $16 for 120ml.

Buy Blume Daydreamer Face Wash.

Seraphine Botanicals Camelina + Strobe Luminizing Primer in Peach Glow. I have tried this brand before and liked it. This is the first Primer which I always like trying new ones. This one is nice thick cream that I like to warm up with my hand then put it on. It’s got some glitter in it so it gives you a slight glow when you apply it. I have used it a few times with no issues. It doesn’t rebel with any of my other normal products or dry out my skin. I like this one and would buy it again.

This one is $18 for a 15ml tube.

Buy Seraphine Botanicals Primer.

SUR.MEDIC+ Perfection 100™ All In One Facial Eye Cream. This is a brand I haven’t heard of. This one is a 2 in 1 meaning It’s eye cream and face cream. I started out using it as an eye cream. It’s a thick cream that’s easy to apply and pat around your eyes. I also used it as a face cream I took a small amount and warmed it up in my hands, then applied it to my face. It does leave you feeling hydrated, but as a face cream, it’s like it doesn’t. I put this on in the morning and at night only to be a little oily around the nose area. I liked this one but I prefer it as an eye cream. I don’t know if I would buy this one again.

This one is $34 for a 1.18 fl oz tube.

Buy Surmedic All in one Facial Eye cream.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream. This was my pick of the month because I love this cream. Literally, anytime I can get a sample of this one I do. This is a light purple cream that you only need a little of to apply to your entire face. It always keeps me hydrated and gives me a slight dewy glow. Also, it smells quite lovely but it’s overly scented. I will be buying this one again.

This one comes in 2 sizes a 0.34 fl oz Travel Size and 1.7 fl oz for $68.

Buy Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream.

Lottie London Slay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Yass. I have tried several products from this brand with never any issues. This is a light Liquid Lipstick that easy to apply. I like ones with the wands since I can properly apply it my lips. I can use one coat and it’s not patchy. This one is nice when you put it on but it does dry out my lips some which I’m not a fan of. I can put some lip balm on top of it without issues. I probably won’t be buying this one again.

This one is £5.95 which is $8.19 and comes in 6 shades.

I really liked this one mainly for the bag itself since I’m big on halloween

The bag is currently $13 a month. If you don’t get it and want to there is a link below.
