April Ipsy 2022
Oh Hello there,
I know I have been delayed with posts I’ve been finding myself. I did get my Ipsy bag later than usual and remembered that it’s the end of the month and I should probably start this post I forgot and didn’t feel like it til now.
So here we are.
This months’ Theme is Keep growing, which I like for the month of April when Flowers start blooming and such.
We get the list of things the bag this month. Which I always appreciate.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. This was my pick for the month, which is funny cause I just bought the whole Mikayla set from Sephora. I hadn’t fully tried it yet and have heard only good things about it. I love it. I only have to use one pump of it and I warm it up in my hands and then pat it on my face. It makes me feel so hydrated and glowy. I can use it by itself too. I have used it with the moisturizer that comes with it and my belief aqua bomb with no issues. I have also used it before my makeup as the primer after it dries down. It’s wonderful and I will be buying this one again.
Honey Jarrett Rose Clay Purifying Mask. This is a brand I’ve not tried before. This is a facemask which I always appreciate. It’s a clay mask that applies with ease. I didn’t make my face feel heavy or burn or anything strange. I left it on for about 10 minutes and took it off with a wet Eco round leaving my face feeling smooth with a little glow. I really like this one and would buy it again.
This one is $24.
Maapilim Exfoliating Solution. This is another brand I’ve not tried before but I always appreciate any type of skincare so I was excited. This one’s a little weird it’s a liquid solution that you apply to your skin and it's supposed to exfoliate. I took some of it in between my palms and then patted my face. I didn’t have any reaction or anything to it but I’m not really sure if it did anything. So I don’t know if I would buy this one again based on that.
This one is $63 for a. 4.2 oz bottle.
Context Skin Tinted Lip Balm in Back for More. I believe I’ve tried something from this brand before but I can’t remember what it was. This one is a tinted lip balm which I’m always excited to get lip products. This one is lovely it is a simple balm that applies smoothly. It’s got that little tent to it which is light dusty pink. It works as a perfect nude on me and I really like this one I didn’t dry out my lips and the color lasted for a couple of hours. I would buy this one again.
This one is $20.
Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing Careless Concealer in 2- Best Life (Fair Warm). I know I’ve tried a version of this at some point. I really like the benefits and their brow products are my favorite so I’m always down to try anything they have. This one is applied with ease and has good coverage with just one coat. It didn’t rebel with any of my other makeup and it didn’t cake up on me. I liked this one and would buy it again.
This one is $24 and comes in 30 shades.
