May Ipsy 2022

Oh hey guess who forgot to review this thing.

It was me. So here we go.

This month’s name is Wild Beauty. They went with a flower theme which works well for the month of May.

We have a list of what’s in the bag which I always appreciate. None of these products I feel really scream the theme though. That could just be me.

This month‘s bag is nice floral theme which goes really well with May flowers.

Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara in Tarmac.

I really like this brand and have tried a couple of things from them. Some of those things have been a hit and miss, this one was a miss. I really love mascara so I’m always excited to try new ones. This one has the curled spoolie which I was super excited about. However, it just does not apply well I have tried it by itself with multiple layers, with my lash brush and it just doesn’t work for me. I can apply it and then apply another mascara over the top of it and it works better but this one just didn’t wow me. So I wouldn’t buy it again.

The full size of this is $26.

H20 + Hydration Oasis Nourishing Gel Cream.

This was a brand I haven’t heard of but I always love trying moisturizers. This one says it’s a gel-cream and it’s more like a normal moisturizer there’s nothing gel about it. I can use a little bit of this to cover my entire face it absorbs in quickly and doesn’t leave me greasy. I’ve used it in the morning before my makeup and I’ve used it at night and had pretty good results with both. I do like this one and would consider buying it again.

a 50ml Tub is $42.

Bad Habit Wake Things up Matcha and Mint Daily Cleanser.

This is another brand I hadn’t heard of and I always love trying to face wash. This one is super minty and it’s green in color for the full effect it does give a nice little tingle when you use it. Also, it’s sudds up nicely to give you a good lather and washes away clean. It doesn’t dry out my face or cause any issues. I really liked this one. It’s good at night or in the morning, and I would buy it again.

A 5fl oz Tube is $19.

F.A.R.A.H Matte Bo$$ Liquid Lip Pigment in Date Night.

I’ve tried a couple of things from Farah mostly brushes that I’ve really dug. This one’s a lipstick and the formula is not bad it applies really easily and dries as a matte. However, the big issue with this one is the color it is the same shade as my skin, it is a beige nude. I have been able to mix this with some other lipsticks and then it died down and it’s really pretty. So I wouldn’t buy this exact one again but I would try maybe a different shade that would work better on my skin tone.

This one is $16 and comes in 10 Shades.

Buy Farrah's Matte Boss Liquid Lip Pigments.

Sugar Cosmetics Goddess of Flawless Perfecting Primer.

I’ve tried a bunch of things from Sugar and had a pretty good experience with them. This is the first primer I believe I’ve tried and it’s a gel primer that is almost like a smooth velvety formula. It’s almost the same as a YSL blur or a Revolution’s blur primer that I really love. So I was very excited to try this one. It applies really smooth but it almost gives the effect that it’s taking off your skincare. It’s like one of those creams that remove dead skin. It did leave me a little cakey after a while. I don’t think I would buy this one again which I guess is good since I literally cannot find it anywhere.

I liked most of the things in this bag some things could’ve been better. I’ll have to get back to doing the surveys so that I do get things that work better for me.
