June Ipsy 2022

Hello,

I’m still delayed on posting things. I’m working and redoing my house so it's been a process.

Let’s jump into the June Ipsy Review.

This month’s theme was Show Your Colors, which I think is a good choice for Pride Month.

We have the list of what’s in the bag that I love so much.

The bag is this bright sun yellow mesh look, with an orange slice charm on the zipper. I really like it and think it fits the theme.

Nomad Cosmetics Normad X Iceland Fire & Ice Eyeshadow in Alfheim. I’m a really big fan of Nomad cosmetics I’ve never gotten anything from them that has been not excellent and high-quality. This one is an eyeshadow single which is this gorgeous metallic purple that has blue, gold, and pink undertones and shimmer in it. It is really just lovely in the pan and even more so when you apply it. This one is blendable and buildable with little fallout and I absolutely love this. This was the product in the bag I was most excited about. I loved this one so of course, would buy it again since I’m a big fan of his brand.

This one is part of the Iceland Fire & Ice Eyeshadow Palette. Which includes 15 shades and is $39.

Half Caked Mirror Mirror Highlighter in Fortune Faded. This is a brand that I haven’t heard of before but I always appreciate a good highlighter. This one is a light peachy gold that I’ve been able to use as a base for my eyeshadow and as a highlight. It works very well with my skin tone and it doesn’t rebel with any of the other products I use. It gives a nice glow and it is buildable. I do like this one and would consider buying it again and checking this brand out more.

I can’t find this one anyways and the brands site only has highlighter sticks.

Laruce Beauty LR120 Tapered Blending in Grey. I’m pretty sure I have tried these brushes before but I honestly can’t remember right now. This one is a very fluffy blending brush I really like this one it was easy to work and it’s got a nice handle. I can use a lot of products or a little and it works just fine. I always appreciate a good brush so I’ll have to check this one out.

This one is $28 and come in 3 shades.

Youth to The People Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner. This is a brand that I have had a pretty good experience with. However, toners, in general, are usually hit and miss for me. This one is nice and you just have to put some on a round swap and wipe it around your face at night after you wash your face. It doens’t leave me greasy or feel just gross in the morning. My skin did have a little bit of a glow to it and it didn’t cause me to break out anything crazy. I do like this one I don’t know if I’d buy it again mainly because I just don’t care that much for toners these days.

This one is $38.

Love + Craft + Beauty Gel Line Eye Pencil in Mercy. This was a brand that I have never tried or heard of before. However, based on the name alone I am intrigued. This one is a gel pencil liner in a gorgeous dark Violet. It applies with ease. I was able to use it in my waterline and over eyeshadow, without it rebelling. The only issue I had with it is I left the cap off of it and it dried it out. I was able to sharpen it and it’s back to perfect with the cap back on it. I really like this one and will be checking this brand out again.

This one is $13 and comes in 7 shades.

I really liked everything in this bag. I haven’t been doing the surveys so I’m surprised I’m getting decent things.
